A six-month plan ending on December 25 means starting on July 25 for the full window. If you are reading this later in the year, the tracker does not pretend otherwise: it fits the same goal into the months actually left. Start in September and that's four monthly deposits rather than six, at larger amounts.

The appeal of six months is breathing room. The weekly or monthly amounts stay modest, and you have time to absorb a missed deposit without the whole plan collapsing. It’s the version that feels sustainable rather than urgent.

This page sets the generator to a six-month run ending December 25. Change the goal, the end date, or the payday schedule and the sheet redraws around your numbers.

Weekly, every 2 weeks, or monthly all work. Match the deposits to days you’ll actually have money available.

Print it and mark the deposits as they land. The boxes still fit on a single sheet, and crossing them off keeps the finish line visible.

Questions

When do I need to start a 6-month plan?
July 25 for the full six months before December 25. Start later and the tracker shortens the plan automatically, giving you fewer, larger deposits.
Why choose six months instead of 26 weeks?
Six months is calendar-clean. Both work; it comes down to whether you prefer a fixed number of weeks or a clean half-year frame.
What if I miss a couple of deposits?
The plan doesn’t break. Catch up on the next payday, reduce the goal slightly, or extend the end date. Decide the rule in advance.
Can the amounts change across the six months?
Yes. Use the ladder option to start smaller and increase, or frontload to put the heavier deposits earlier before November and December spending rises.
